STITCHSHEETS — FICTIONAL CEDAR GROVE EXAMPLE
All workbooks and PDFs in this archive are synthetic. No customer data.

FIRST REPORT
1. Create a report for September 2026. Import september-expenses.xlsx,
   facilities-memo.pdf, and activities-summary.pdf.
2. Facilities table: sheet Facilities; heading starts row 3; two heading rows;
   columns A-E (1-5); ending row blank to extend with new data. Trim whitespace,
   fill down Department, remove repeated headings, and remove subtotal/total
   labels in Department. Inspect the before/after preview and approve.
3. Programs table: sheet Programs; heading starts row 4; one heading row;
   columns A-E (1-5); ending row blank. Trim whitespace, fill down Department,
   and remove subtotal/total labels in Department. Review and approve.
4. Stack the two tables with output columns Department, Account, Date,
   Description, Amount. Map Facilities' Expense / Date, Expense / Description,
   and Expense / Amount to Date, Description, Amount. The Programs headings
   map directly. This is stacking, not a join; all records stay separate.
5. Add the combined table as a landscape section. Add a plain-text note and
   both whole-PDF attachments. Save layout, build the preview, follow contents
   links, and export the packet. Export the combined clean workbook separately.

EXPECTED SEPTEMBER: 24 Facilities + 8 Programs = 32 rows; amount sum 5,769.20.

NEXT REPORT
Use Prepare next report and enter October 2026. Replace the same workbook
source slot with october-expenses.xlsx. Do not import it as an unrelated new
slot. Review validation, then rebuild the existing layout.
EXPECTED OCTOBER: 26 Facilities + 9 Programs = 35 rows; amount sum 6,986.10.

The PDFs are still September documents unless you replace them. Written notes
stay as typed; review their dates yourself. A new reporting period does not
rewrite attachment content or notes.

Source workbooks, clean workbooks, and sample PDFs let you compare the complete
selected data. A preview limit is not an export limit. The sample packets have
nine pages, with combined table data spanning three landscape pages.
